Lisa Rangel's Interview Confidentiality: Get Hired and Don't Sell Out!, is an amazing resource for any professional who is interested in owning your career and exploring the job market. As a business professional who was put in an unforeseen circumstance and was admittedly behind the eight ball, this book was a critical resource that enabled me to become confident and prepare for future opportunities. Specifically, the book helps you identify what you want in your ideal job, how to invest in yourself, how to prepare for the interview process, and how handle difficult questions & situations. The book explains that until you understand what you value in a position, you cannot truly move forward looking for new opportunities. Additionally, any questions and/or reservations about the interview process are addressed and answered thoroughly. Personally, the interview process was once a point of trepidation and has now turned into a strength due to the preparedness that the book helps you develop. I no longer struggle with interview questions related to salary and prior work experience because I am confident in my previous career, my resume, and my ability to answer the questions accurately.
