Heartbreaking Story

This is a wonderfully written story and very hard to put down. My heart breaks at the thought of anybody having to endure life as Emily had to. Emily's ability to push through is inspirational. A must read!

This book is horrific. What the little girl has to go through. I hope as a teacher I can spot the signs and help a child like this. It's a common occurrence that to many people sweep under the rug. It was a book I didn't want to hear but a book I couldn't put down as I wanted to know what was going to happen to the little girl.

the fear that Emmy feels and the confusion will make every reader stop and think about how helpless a sexual assault victim feels and for a child it is a trapped hell they can't escape with no where to turn to Emmy is a brave young girl who has to struggle through what should be her happiest years.
